Innovations at Nordbygg – Hilti is back
There is no place better than Nordbygg to show new innovations for the construction industry. Hilti is one of the companies that make their return to the fair in 2024 after an extended break. At Nordbygg 2024, they will take the opportunity to let visitors try out their latest innovations.
Hilti has above all become known for their tools, even though today they are more of a construction technology company with a significantly wider offer, which not least will be noticed when they now return to Nordbygg in 2024.
– It will be a Nordbygg full of innovations for us. Apart from new product categories, services and software will have a prominent position. We strive to be the customer’s partner in productivity, safety and sustainability, says Maria Hägg, Marketing Director at Hilti in Sweden.
Developing exoskeletons
Hilti’s exoskeleton won the Nordbygg Gold Medal in 2021, an award for the most innovative new product of the year. In 2024, the Nordbygg audience will be able to test the updated exoskeleton.
– The exoskeleton has been updated and takes an even larger load off the shoulders, it can also be adapted to different body types and has an adjustable neck support. The development of the exoskeleton is progressing rapidly, already at Nordbygg visitors will be able to come by the stand and test brand new skeletons that also can help lifting tools and distribute the weight across the body, Maria explains.
The new battery platform
Among the innovations that will be showed for the first time to a wider audience in conjunction with Nordbygg, we find the connected 22-V battery platform that was launched last year.
– The battery platform is called ”Nuron”, and is one of our most unique product launches. It was launched along with no less than seventy tools, and is therefore the largest launch in Hilti history. The area of use stretches from construction, electricity, HVAC and industry to steel and metal working, so it will be great to show it, says Maria.
Nordbygg - an innovation platform
– My best advice to visitors at Nordbygg is to go to the exhibitors and really make the most of the opportunity to try and feel, ask questions and be inspired. I’m extremely happy when I see actors such as Hilti longing to come back to meet the industry and use us as a platform to put their innovations out there, says Lina Hann, Project Manager at Nordbygg.
