– It is much spoken of, but the fact is that only a few percent of all the materials are being circulated today. So far, the amounts of waste from the construction industry are actually increasing. That is why it is so important that the industry knows that we exist to make the transition happen, and that all our income is reinvested in the business, Carina Loh Lindholm, coordinator at CCBuild explains.

According to a study by Återvinningsindustrierna (The Recycling Industries), value losses of about SEK 19 billion each year occur in the Swedish economy due to today’s linear material flow in our properties. 

– But the transition is not impossible, concrete steps in the direction of circular flows can be taken, that is why I want everyone to feel the support that we can give for it to become reality, says Carina.
