The industry is exhibiting an impressive development power!

To a large extent, 2011 has been a turbulent year with economic trouble spots in Southern Europe as well as large areas of the USA. In spite of this, most of the Swedish public construction industry seems to be on a strong footing.

This is evident to me from the major investments many companies are making in Nordbygg 2012 and by the way they express themselves about their plans for the future. There is an impressive development power here.

The theme for Nordbygg 2012 is “World-class sustainable construction” and there is a real sense that this theme will be hammered home on closer acquaintance with the innovations and messages which exhibitors and seminar organizers will be presenting at the fair.

Sustainability is no longer some futuristic concept – it is embodied in specific products and services on display at Nordbygg 2012. It is about products and services which go beyond current economic woes and focus on the development of a sustainable society – here and now.

This gives the Nordbygg 2012 Fair a very inspirational feel. I am really looking forward to all the meetings, business and exchange of experience that will be happening here in March 2012!
